Set on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, Tithe Saoire na n-Oilean, Island Cottages are ideally located amidst a rugged and tranquil landscape. Ideal for a relaxing break away from the stresses of modern living you can enjoy the rugged coastline, tranquil bogland and views of the famous Twelve Pins Mountain Range while on the other hand strolls along this magical landscape offer distant views of the world famous Aran Islands and Clare Hills.
The cottages are located on the Gaeltacht island of Letir Moir which is joined to the Connemara mainland by bridge. Situated 60 km west of Galway City along route R336, Leitir Moir boasts the contrasting landscape of a rugged coastline, white sandy beaches, the clear crystal waters of the Atlantic where the Irish language and the traditions and the culture of the Gaeltacht are very much alive today.
Each of the 13 cottages is fully equipped to cater for six persons, each with three bedrooms, each with three large bedrooms, large sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and ample storage space. All cottages boast modern conveniences including electric heaters, washing machine, dryer and microwave oven. All cottages contain linen and cooking utensils.
