A holiday in the Gleneagle is like no other! The hotel is situated one mile outside of Killarney adjacent to the 25,000 acre National Park. It was established in 1957, by the O'Donoghue family and has now become one of Irelands leading leisure hotels and entertainment venues. The hotel has 250 bedrooms, all of which are ensuite with T.V. phone and hairdryer and many of them are front facing offering a breathtaking view of the national park. We have a selection of double, twin, triple,family rooms and suites. Once you step inside the doors of the Gleneagle Hotel you will immediately experience a warm friendly atmosphere inside. You will be greeted on arrival by our Guest Relations Manager, who is there to ensure that your stay with us is an enjoyable and memorable experience. She will also provide you with information on all in-house activities as well as Killarney and its local attractions For your added convenience we have a 24 hr porter service which can cater to your requirements at any hour of the day. If you decide to travel by train we have a Courtesy Shuttle Bus which brings people to and from the train station during the day upon request. This bus also makes frequent trips to Killarney town and to Ross Castle - a popular tourist attraction. 2000 saw the introduction of the Gleneagle Hotels Loyalty Scheme, which rewards our loyal customers who return to the hotel again and again with exciting gifts.
