Magheramore Courtyard offers new self catering accommodation outside Dungiven in Northern Ireland. The three cottages have been completely refurbished to exacting standards, indeed they have received a "Five Star" rating from the Northern Ireland Tourist Board. The accommodation comprises of 3 cottages. The Stable, The Dairy and the Shepherd's Nook. All are spacious and tastefully decorated.
The cottages are located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; the farm on which they are situated voluntarily participates in the Environmentally Sensitive Area scheme. Evidence of recent environmental works is apparent. Part of the farm in Banagher Glen is included in an Area of Special Scientific Interest. The cottages are situated one mile from Banagher Glen National Nature Reserve. A very colourful scenic area with walking access leads to Banagher reservoir which was built seventy years ago to supply the City of Derry with water. The glen has an array of wild flowers as well as an abundance of bird life not forgetting the streams which gush along the valley floors. The Giant's Causeway, said to be the eighth wonder of the world and the Old Bushmills Distillery, reputed to be the oldest licensed distillery (1608) in the world are less than an hours drive away. Thirty minutes takes you either to Benone beach which continues to receive the European Blue Flag for quality or to the historic city of Derry.

Electricity : Electricity and Heating is by coin operated meter box, the first twenty units are free. We also ensure that the heating is on prior to your arrival, so that the cottage is warm when you first enter.
