County.
This 480 square miles is rich in archaeology
and mythology. The area boosts the ancient seat of Ulster kings at Navan, and
is host of the famous observatory and planetarium. Armagh - City of saints and
scholars is rich in Georgian architecture and has two Cathedrals both dedicated
to St Patrick.
Visitors can also sample a day in the life of
the Archbishop's Palace in 1776 at the Palace Stables.
Major shopping towns include Portadown and Lurgan with other picturesque
villages such as Tandragee, Keady, Markethill and Richhill.
